GUIDELINES FOR FUNERALS

Funeral chapels cater only to Catholic families.
A maximum of TWO to THREE days wake.
Proper decorum in the Funeral Chapels during the wake is required by complying with the following policies:
- No one is allowed to conduct any boisterous activity among children and adults in order to maintain an environment of quiet and respectful mourning. (Parents please mind your children.) Families are encouraged to pray as they keep vigil keenly aware of the sensibilities of the others.
- Drinking liquor, smoking and gambling are not allowed inside and outside the funeral chapel. The funeral parlor area is a "no smoking" area. Please ask the guard on duty to point you to the designated smoking area which is near the creek.
- Moving of furniture in the chapel from one place to another, and the use of wax candles are not allowed.
The gate closes at 12:00 midnight and opens at 5:00am. No visitors are allowed between this time frame.
The security of personal belongings inside the chapel, as well as personal vehicles in the parking lot, are the sole responsibility of the owners.
Funeral Mass may be celebrated in the funeral chapel by a Catholic priest.
- The parish can provide a priest for a funeral mass only for the last night or last day of the wake
- The parish does not provide a priest for gravesite ceremony.
Our maintenance personnel will be available only from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm ONLY for your various needs. Beware of persons entering the funeral chapels maliciously misrepresenting themselves as parish personnel.
Report damages and breakages of furniture and equipment at once for proper action by the administration. Damages and breakages caused by family members and guests will be charged to the family.
Current rates of funeral services of St. John Bosco Parish Makati is one of the cheapest rates in the city compared to the other funeral chapel services with lesser facilities. Hence to maintain quality service, no further discount (senior citizen or otherwise) can be offered to the bereaved family.
