MESSAGE FROM OUR PARISH PRIEST
My dear Parishioners,
In this first message to you as the new Parish Priest, I would like to ask you to pray for me so I may fulfill the shepherding role God has given me.
A priest is a human being who needs the support of the community just like everyone else. Without the parishioners, without the community, there will be no Parish Priest. He cannot be a “Lone Ranger”. He needs the collaboration of the whole parish community especially the different support groups and church organizations. My dream for our Parish is very simple. Allow me to share these dreams.
I dream of a Parish…
…where lay people are empowered to participate in parish governance, and to contribute valuable skills and time to our community.
…that fosters spiritual growth making use of our Pastoral Plan (Salesian Educative Pastoral Plan – SEPP) as a way to holiness.
…that excels on Saturdays and Sundays when it comes together for worship, hospitality, formations, youth activities, etc.
…that evangelizes in all places especially in every home and work place.
I hope you will help me realize these dreams as we journey together.
God bless you all and your families!
